COURSE PROGRAMME REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

This stand-alone qualification complements the CIEH level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace certificate.

Having attended this course, candidates will be prepared to look carefully at their own activities and contribute to the development of safer methods and tasks, in co-operation with managers and supervisors.

Please note: this qualification is not intended to train students to carry out manual handling assessments nor to provide detailed training on handling techniques. For more extensive manual handling training, see HSAS Bespoke Training courses.

This course is suitable for any employee who carries out manual handling activities at work.

Examination: candidates are assessed by a short objective test consisting of 20 multi-choice questions.

Oral tests are available to ensure that candidates with learning difficulties or disabilities can also access the training and achieve success.

Successful candidates are awarded the CIEH Certificate in the Principles of Manual Handling.
