ASSESSMENT
PRINCIPLES AND
PRACTICE

This
level 3 health & safety qualification will enable
employees to:
- Contribute to the risk
assessment programme at their workplaces.
- Conduct risk assessments (assuming
they have the necessary technical
knowledge in relation to the activities/environments/issued
being assessed).
- Organise and implement a
risk assessment programme where this has
not already been started.
- Participate in the
identification of specific training needs
for the activities being assessed.
- Assist employers in
meeting legal requirements and promote
improved standards of health and safety
within their organisation.

This course is
suitable for anyone in a supervisory / managerial
role who is responsible for conducting risk
assessments.
Examination: candidates are assessed by an
assignment (3-6 hours) to be completed and
submitted within 6 weeks of the course.
